If you’ve been hankering for the Apple iPad and couldn’t afford one then the new deal on the tablet computing device from 3 Mobile could change all of that. Today, the provider that specialises in mobile broadband has announced that fans of the bestselling Apple device will now be able to bag themselves one of the devices for just £199. Customers keen to get themselves one of the tablets will need to sign up for a two-year contract, costing £25 per month for the fixed term.
Anyone opting for the deal will then get their hands on a 16GB Wi-Fi enabled iPad that will also boast 3G connectivity thanks to the 3 Mobile broadband network in the UK. Users will be able to enjoy up to 15GB of data usage per month, meaning plenty of freedom and convenience to enjoy content on the move.
In addition, 3 Mobile has said that it will also be offering the 32GB model for £249 and the 64GB variant for £349, while both these devices will also come complete with the Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity that is essential for getting the best out of the mobile tablet.
There will also be a selection of pay-as-you-go mobile broadband deals and one-month rolling contract options for Apple fans not wanting to go down the lengthy contract route. PAYG comes as a £10 package that allows 1GB of data usage for 30days, while a chunkier option costs £20 for a 30-day period and will cost you £20.
Meanwhile, the rolling contract options come in a £7.50 per month for a 1GB deal, while a 10GB deal costs £15 per month.
“We are delighted to launch new pricing options for iPod with Wi-Fi + 3G, in addition to our competitive SIM-only plans for iPad in the UK,” said Marc Allera, sales and marketing director at 3 Mobile. “Our network is the largest 3G network in the country and came first in the two most recent YouGov surveys of Mobile Broadband customers – ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on iPad.”
